<p>The iBird Yard Plus Guide to Birds offers a comprehensive collection of 270 species found in North America, including Hawaii. This guide is specifically designed for bird enthusiasts interested in the 126 species commonly found in gardens and yards, as well as an additional 144 commonly spotted birds such as ducks, hawks, and seabirds. If you're new to birding, iBird Yard Plus provides an affordable way to develop a deep understanding of these incredible creatures. iBird Yard Plus incorporates the latest research, featuring the 2017 AOU supplement and hundreds of bird songs and calls that can be played from the app to attract birds to your feeders. In our most recent update (version 10.06), iBird Yard Plus introduces a significant improvement with the addition of "Time of Day" filtering. This filtering feature allows you to search for birds based on their activity levels during different times of day, such as day or night (Cathemeral), dawn and dusk (Crepuscular), during the day (Diurnal), or during the night (Nocturnal).

Furthermore, this version includes our new Owls of Mexico and Central America package which provides detailed information about these elusive birds. This package includes illustrations with field marks, range maps, songs and calls recordings, and much more.

With iBird's Percevia™ matching system, users can easily search for birds based on color, location, shape, habitat, or any one of 37 identification attributes. Our comprehensive species pages offer a wealth of information including hundreds of high-quality bird song recordings, professional photographs, hand-drawn composite illustrations, and range maps with detailed migration paths.

For those who wish to try iBird without any cost, we've released the iBird LITE Free Guide to Birds of North America. This free version includes all the features of the paid iBird Ultimate, including BAM, but with a limited selection of 50 species.
